Seethamma saree woven at Sircilla
RSD- Sircilla news: On the occasion of Sri Rama Navami, the Bhadradri temple’s Mula Virat was woven on a silk saree that was woven for ten days. He painted the conch, chakra, Hanuman and Garuda on the border of the saree. Also, the verse Sri Rama Rameti was woven 51 times on the saree. This seven-yard saree made of one gram gold zari silk weighs about 800 grams. This was specially prepared by a weaver from Siricilla, Veldi Hariprasad. He requested CM Revanth Reddy to provide an opportunity to the weavers of Siricilla to weave silk clothes for the wedding of Sita Ram every year. The Sita Ram Kalyana Mahotsavam will be held on April 6th 2025 at the Mithula Stadium in Bhadrachalam as a feast for the devotee’s eyes. The authorities have already completed the relevant arrangements. Keeping in mind the rush of devotees in the presence of Lord Rama at Bhadradri on that day, the police department is making preparations to make heavy security arrangements.
