Doctors’ Negligence in Sircilla… Surgery on Right Eye Instead of Left!
Rajanna Sircilla (RSD): An incident of alleged medical negligence has come to light at the LV Prasad Eye Institute in Rajanna Sircilla district headquarters.
According to the victim’s family, a woman named Enkamma was supposed to undergo surgery on her left eye. Doctors had conducted all tests and informed the family about the left-eye surgery.
However, after the surgery was completed and Enkamma came out of the operation theatre, the family members were shocked to find that the surgery was performed on her right eye instead.
The family is questioning how such a mistake could happen even after confirming which eye needed surgery and what precautions the medical team took before the surgery.
Expressing deep anguish over the loss caused to them, the victim’s family is demanding a comprehensive inquiry into the incident and strict action against the doctors responsible.
