RSD- Vemulawada news: TPTF State President Chakinala Anil Kumar has issued a call to teachers to turn out in large numbers and ensure the success of the State Education Conference, scheduled to be held under the aegis of the Telangana Progressive Teachers Federation (TPTF) on April 30th 2026 at the Sundarayya Vignana Kendram in Hyderabad. At the Tippapur High School in Vemulawada Mandal, the wall poster for the Education Conference was unveiled by TPTF Rajanna Sircilla District President Dumala Ramanad Reddy, General Secretary Vikkurthi Anjaiah, and State Leader Koluguri Kishan Rao. Speaking on this occasion, they stated that the government is acting with negligence towards the education sector. They alleged that policies are being formulated in a manner that prevents education from being accessible to everyone on an equal basis. They expressed deep anguish, noting that funds are not being allocated to the education sector in accordance with the promises made during the elections, and that the groundwork is being laid for the closure of hundreds of government schools. They further explained that, in this critical context, the State Education Conference is being organized with the aim of protecting government schools, ensuring equal access to education for all, advocating for the education system to remain under government control, and demanding the introduction of a ‘Neighborhood Common School’ policy. They demanded that, in light of the crisis facing the education sector, the government immediately release pending Dearness Allowance (DA) arrears; announce and implement the Pay Revision Commission (PRC); ensure justice for those affected by Government Order 317; abolish the Contributory Pension Scheme (CPS) as previously announced; revise the adjustment norms for SGT teachers; provide equal promotional opportunities for D.Ed. and B.Ed. qualified teachers; and extend the Old Pension Scheme benefits to teachers recruited under the 2003 DSC notification. Dr. Naveen Nicholas, Director of School Education, will attend as the Chief Guest, while Professor M. Kodandaram will attend as the Guest of Honor at the TPTF State Education Conference. It was announced that, during the upcoming educational seminar, Education Protection Committee leader Professor Haragopal will speak on the topic “The New National Education Policy and Constitutional Values”; Professor Chintakindi Kasim, Principal of the Osmania University College of Arts, will address the topic “Educational Inequality and the Crisis in the Education Sector in Telangana”; and K.
