Police cracks kidnapping case within 24 hours

RSD- Vemulawada news: Vemulawada police formed a special team and arrested two kidnappers in Maharashtra. Vemulawada Town Inspector Veeraprasad disclosed the details. The inspector said in a media conference that Pallapu Srinu Venkatesh of Kodimunja R&R colony under Vemulawada town and Lalu Nagorao Dayarangalod of Maharashtra and some other persons entered into a contract for laborers to do hired work and at Lalu Nagorao Dayaranga Lode Pallapu Srinu took money and did not send the laborers, there was a quarrel between them regarding the labors. Lalu Nagorao Dayaranga Lode, his wife Panchtula and four other persons reached Kodimunja on 06.11.2024 with the intention of collecting money from Pallapu Srinu and kidnapped his mother Bhimabai and took her to Nanded in Maharashtra as Pallapu Srinu was not at home. According to the complaint of Bhimabai’s grand son Venkatesh, Vemulawada Town Police registered a case and two teams went to Nanded on the orders of District SP Akhil Mahajan. There, with the cooperation of the police, two accused were detained and remanded on 07.11.2024, while four others are absconding.The District SP congratulated the Vemulawada Town Police who solved the kidnapping case within 24 hours and brought the woman home safely.
