Sircilla weaver’s amazing creation

RSD-Sircilla news: Nalla Vijay, a renowned handloom artist from Rajanna Siricilla district and recipient of the ‘Chenetha Kalaratna’ award, unveiled another miracle. As per the request of Hyderabad based businessman Chenna Rao, he created a very attractive saree with gold and silver flowers using just two grams of gold and two grams of silver. After working tirelessly for about 25 days, he crafted this masterpiece with a length of five and a half meters and a width of 48 inches saree. This saree woven with gold and silver threads was unveiled by former Minister Kalvakuntla Taraka Rama Rao (KTR). Speaking on the occasion, Nalla Vijay thanked KTR for giving him this great opportunity. He expressed confidence that he would do more innovative experiments in the future. This saree, made at a cost of around Rs 85,000, is currently mesmerizing everyone. Many praised the skill of Siricilla weavers as once again for gaining international recognition.
