Bus conductor shows honesty

RSD-Hyderabad news:  The conductor showed honesty by returning a bag worth Rs. 13 lakhs lost by a passenger in an RTC bus.On the 26th of April 2025, a passenger who boarded the RTC bus on the Hyderabad-Acchampeta route at Kandukur forgot a bag containing gold and silver ornaments worth Rs. 13 lakhs and some cash in the CBS and got off.When the bag was found by the conductor Venkateswarlu of the Acchampeta depot, he informed Acchampeta DM Murali Durga Prasad over the phone. The DM suggested that the bag be handed over to the station manager’s office in MGBS.Meanwhile, a passenger named Anil Kumar called the DM and said that he had forgotten the bag in the bus. TGSRTC officials checked the details and handed over the bag to the passenger Anil Kumar.Conductor Venkateshwarlu was felicitated and congratulated by RTC MD VC Sajjanar at Bus Bhavan on 29.04.2025.
