On the occasion of International Yoga Day, International Yoga Day celebrations were organized in a grand manner at the parade ground on 21.06.2025 under the district police department.Speaking on the occasion, the District SP said that the officers and staff, who are always busy in maintaining peace and security, have maintained their health by practicing yoga regularly. The officers and staff are suffering from many types of illnesses due to their constant neglect of their health and said that only if the staff is healthy can they effectively serve the people. Like the universal values ​​proposed by Indianism, yoga also teaches a universal concept and worldly perspective. He said that people in all countries have recognized the power and importance of yoga and its immune capacity and have brought yoga into use. Unlike other exercises, yoga is the only way to achieve health and mental balance anywhere, without the need for any exercise equipment, he said. He said that yoga can lead to a better life, excellent physical, mental and spiritual health, and better thoughts. Police officers and staff said that by making yoga a part of their daily lives, they can live a happy life. He said that if everyone practices yoga for half an hour or an hour every day, they will be free from most diseases and will lead a peaceful life without stress.
