RSD- Sircilla news: The Telangana Progressive Teachers Federation Rajannasircilla District Committee meeting was held on 21.04.2025 in Sircilla under the chairmanship of TPTF Rajannasircilla District President Dumala Ramanath Reddy. State President Chakinala Anil Kumar and State Vice President Pathuri Mahender Reddy were present as the chief guests of the program. TPTF State President Chakinala Anil Kumar said that the government has established various types of schools under different managements and implemented a gap-ridden education policy, which has created inequalities in the education sector. He urged the government to immediately implement the “Common School Education Policy” to abolish schools operating under various managements, abolish the private school system and provide equal, quality and scientific education to all students. He said that it is not right for the state government to allocate thousands of crores of funds to just 56 schools and allocate a small amount of funds for the development of thousands of schools, and demanded that the budget allocation for the education sector be increased. He demanded that the salaries of sanitation workers in Rajannasircilla district be sanctioned immediately, saying that it is unfair that salaries are not given in this district even though they are sanctioned in all districts. TPTF State Vice President Paturi Mahender Reddy said that the government should immediately release the schedule of promotions and transfers of teachers operating under all managements during the summer vacations. He demanded that the state government immediately release the pending DAs and pendirug bills as per the promises made before the elections, and that the PRC Committee report be made public and implemented immediately. TPTF Rajannasircilla District President Dumala Ramanath Reddy, speaking, demanded that the contributory pension system be abolished and the old pension system implemented, and that the contract system be abolished in the education sector. They demanded that the staff involved in the census survey be given honorarium immediately and that CCL be granted to them for the days worked during vacations.
