RSD-Tangalapally news: On 21.11.2025, as part of the annual inspections, the Tangalapally Police Station was inspected, the station surroundings, details of vehicles seized in various cases, various records related to the station were inspected, the geographical map of the station was examined and crime hotspots were inquired about. Later, the pending cases, court cases, and cases currently under investigation were thoroughly reviewed, several orders were issued to the officers and detailed information was obtained on the law and order situation and crime situation within the station limits. On this occasion, the SP said that the police duties should be closer to the people, and steps should be taken to respond immediately to every complaint and ensure speedy justice to the victims. He ordered that special vigil should be set up on rowdy sheeters within the police station limits, and that staff and officers should check their movements from time to time during patrolling, and that special vigil should be set up on those who carry out illegal activities, and new rowdy sheets should be opened against those who cause trouble to the general public. Keeping in mind the upcoming local body elections, he ordered that appropriate activities should be started from now and preparations should be made for conducting the elections in a peaceful atmosphere. He advised that critical and non-critical polling stations should be identified within the station limits, visible policing should be implemented in those areas, and appropriate measures should be taken to prevent problems by collecting advance information on peace and security issues. He urged the people within the police station limits to be made aware of the harm caused by marijuana, drugs and other intoxicants, to control cyberbullying, and to prepare special activities to prevent road accidents.
