Water problems in Peddur Double bed room colony
RSD- Peddur news: On 28.11.2025, BJP leaders went to Sircilla Peddur Double Bedroom Colony and saw firsthand. BJP expresses its deep concern over the serious water problem there. The government has built houses for the poor, but is making them suffer without basic necessities like water. Women, elderly and children are facing serious difficulties due to the lack of water from Mission Bhagirath even once in four to five days. From morning to night, everyone is facing difficulties in getting water. Children’s school, daily cooking, cleaning all of which have come to a standstill. Even though the local people have appealed to the municipality and the collector several times, the negligence of the authorities continues. Even the boreholes provided by the MP are only providing water up to the ground floor. Mission Bhagirath is the only way for G+2 houses. Even then, people are suffering by not getting water every day.
In the interest of the government & municipality BJP’s stern warning
The government is not looking at the experiences of the poor people in Sircilla. While boasting about “double bedroom” in words, in reality, the people are facing “double difficulties, double hardships”!
➡Mission Bhagiratha water should be released every day.
➡The water shortage should be completely resolved immediately.
➡Immediate steps should be taken to ensure that water reaches Peddur colony.
Otherwise, BJP’s stern warning
We will start a massive movement with all the people.
We will besiege the municipality.
We will make the government feel strongly what BJP can do for the people.
