RSD-Sircilla news: On this occasion, the District SP Mahesh B. Gite said that a person named Hari Burman from West Bengal, who studied till Inter and was accustomed to rough living, came from West Bengal by train and stole mobiles in Guntakal and Gooti areas and changed the passwords of such mobiles with the help of Aadhaar card and PAN cards in the mobile phone. He used to reset the passwords of Phone Pay, Google Pay and other accounts and send the money to other accounts for the his luxuries. As part of this, a person named Sirikonda Srinivas from Manala village of Rudrangi mandal was going to Tirupati by train on 12.03.2025 when he woke up at 5 am, an unknown person stole his wife’s phone and transferred money from his account to his account through Phone Pay in several stages. Srinivas filed a complaint at the Rudrangi police station through the said bank statement. The SP said that as part of the investigation, a special team was formed under the leadership of Chandurthi CI Venkateshwarlu, District Cyber Crime RSI Junaid, Constable Kittu, Mahesh, Gangi Reddy, and Raju, and the accused Hari was arrested in Vijayawada based on technical information and sent to remand on 03.08.2025. The SP specially congratulated Chandurthi CI Venkateshwarlu, Cyber RSI Junaid, Constables Kittu, Raju, Gangi Reddy, and Mahesh for their efforts in cleverly catching the accused.
