The Collector said that all the relevant departments have been alerted in the wake of the Meteorological Department’s announcement that there will be heavy rains in the coming days. He said that vigilance measures are being taken at low-level causeways in low-lying areas. He said that officials from Revenue, Police, Electricity, Agriculture, Health, PR, Mission Bhagiratha and other departments are providing services in the control room. From the 16th to the 18th of August 2025, officials will be available and provide appropriate information to the people suffering from rains and floods. They will coordinate with the officials of the relevant departments and provide services to help the flood-affected people. He said that the officials of the respective departments will be available 24 hours. The Collector said that people should be vigilant in the wake of heavy rains.
