Street Lights Exist, But Darkness Prevails : Mustabad-Kamareddy Main Road in Neglect
RSD_Mustabad:The Mustabad-Kamareddy main road is reeling under darkness despite having electric poles and street lights installed.
According to locals, the street lights on this stretch are not functioning at night, leaving the entire road in complete darkness. This is causing severe inconvenience to commuters and vehicle drivers who use this busy route daily.
Two-wheeler riders and four-wheeler drivers are facing the most difficulty, as oncoming vehicles, potholes and roadside obstacles are not visible clearly at night. Locals say the stretch has become accident-prone due to lack of lighting.
Despite bringing the issue to the notice of the concerned departments, no action has been taken so far to repair the lights.
Commuters and residents are demanding that the authorities respond immediately and ensure all street lights are repaired and made functional to prevent untoward incidents.
