How Did Document No. 7289 Emerge in 2007… When Last Number Was 5777?… Govt Whip Questions KTR

RSD_Rajanna Sircilla: The land dispute over Bolla Rammohan’s lands has sparked a major controversy over document numbers.

Telangana Government Whip Adi Srinivas has raised serious doubts over a document cited by BRS Working President K.T. Rama Rao (KTR).

Addressing a press meet at Sircilla Congress office along with DCC President Sangeetham Srinivas on Thursday, the Whip said KTR had mentioned a document dated 12-12-2007, bearing No. 7289, related to Bolla Rammohan, claiming that it was sent to him by Rammohan himself.

Adi Srinivas said he filed an RTI with the Sircilla Sub-Registrar office seeking details. According to the reply, the last registered document for the year 2007 as of December 31, 2007, was only No. 5777.

“If 5777 was the last document of 2007, how did document No. 7289 come on 12-12-2007? This raises doubts about its authenticity,” he questioned.

He demanded a detailed inquiry by revenue and registration departments to verify whether document No. 7289 exists in the original records, including book, volume, page, index and scanned copies.

He also demanded a comprehensive probe into alleged government lands in Sircilla. He claimed 2.30 acres and 5 acres in the name of Bolla Rammohan are government lands, and that the government had already initiated process to reclaim them. He further alleged 14.25 acres of government land in the name of Konduru Ravinder Rao and sought verification of records related to Thota Agaiah.

If the document is found to be fake, a forgery case should be booked, he said, and if genuine, officials should declare it officially.

The Whip also demanded that KTR respond to the issue and apologize if he had misled the public.
