Accused in murder case arrested and remanded

RSD- Vemulawada news: The deceased Chettipelli Parasuramulu of Srinagar Colony, Vemulawada town and the accused Byreddy Vinay, Eerla Sai, Vastad Akhil, Neduri Rajesh and Addagatla Manoj Kumar used to roam together in the past. All of them have been booked in various police stations for ganja cases, murder cases and various other cases and have been to jail many times. For some time now, the deceased Parashuramulu has been staying at home, doing his own work, not being with the other five people. A few days ago, five accused were registered in various police stations for marijuana cases. They suspected that the deceased Parashuramulu was informing the police that such marijuana cases were being registered. They thought that if they killed Parashuramulu, they would not have marijuana cases against them, and that they would be able to trade marijuana easily, not be found by the police, and lead luxuries with the money they earned. As per the plan they had made in advance on 13-04-2025, when they saw the deceased Parashuramulu alone on the top of the store room building next to the Mahalingeswara Function Hall on the Vemulawada Second Bypass Road, three accused Byreddy Vinay, Eerla Sai and Vastad Akhil with axes and knives that they had brought with them, indiscriminately attacked and killed the deceased. Another accused Rajesh had put up a gate to prevent anyone coming from outside, and another accused, Addagatla Manoj Kumar, had sent them to kill them, saying that he would be outside to get bail if they all went to jail. Vemulawada Town Inspector registered a case based on the complaint filed by the deceased’s wife. ON 15.04.2025 at 10.00 am, they arrested him on the outskirts of Ayyor Palligrama, conducted a panchanama and recovered two axes, a knife, 2 bikes and 2 cell phones used to kill Parasharamulu from the possession of the accused, Vemulawada ASP, Sheshadrini Reddy said that they are searching for the other accused, Manoj Kumar, who is on the run.
