Girls are the jewels of the society- President of Municipal Corporation Mrs. Jindam Kala Chakrapani

On 24.01.2023 at the local Venkampet High School and Social Welfare Gurukula School (Girls) Chinna Bonala, Rajannasircilla District Women, Child and Elderly Disabled Welfare Department organized the National Girl’s Day program, Municipal Committee President Mrs. Jindam Kala Chakrapani, ZP Chairperson Mrs. Nyalakonda Aruna Raghava Reddy were chief guests.

In this regard, Mrs. Jindam Kala Chakrapani, President of Municipal Corporation said that first of all, the representatives of the people who participated in the program, the officials, the school students, each and every one of them were congratulated on National Girl’s Day. Chief Minister KCR said that girls should be the backbone of this society and he is leading the Telangana state in the development of welfare by giving high priority to protect the welfare of girls and women in Telangana state. Through Anganwadi Centers providing nutritional food to young children to pregnant women and through KCR kit scheme giving 13 thousand rupees to mothers who give birth to baby girls as an incentive, infant mortality is being prevented. Special counseling centers have been set up through the centers and measures are being taken by the government to instill mental courage in them. Moreover, child marriages have been eradicated by taking measures to ensure that marriages take place within the marriagable age decided by the government through schemes like Kalyana Lakshmi Shadi Mubarak, which is a source of support for the families of girls. He said that special reservation rights are being given to women in education, job opportunities and special efforts are being made for the advancement of women through the Department of Women and Child Welfare. Municipal president Jindam Kala chakrapani directed the girls that girls should not under any circumstances feel inferior to the boys, have self-confidence in any matter and set high goals in life and move forward in education towards achieving the goals set by them. She said that when we respect women we can create a society without gender discrimination and everyone should consider this as a moral responsibility. Councilors Kalluri Raju, Bolgam Nagaraj Goud, Director of KDCC Bank Karimnagar Veerabhattini Kamalakar, DWO Lakshmareddy, Women and Child Welfare Department officials, Sakhi Center Management Officers, Principals, Teachers, Authorities and staff of various government departments and students participated in this program.
