Former Minister KTR says Telangana is treated unfairly in Central Budget
RSD-Hyderabad news: In a media conference held on 23.07.2024, KTR said that he has no interest in the budget to be introduced in the Parliament by the central government. Usually one is interested in how the central budget means the allocation of funds to their state. But he reminded that the Modi government has been treating unfairly Telangana for the past ten years. He said that even though Telangana was formed as a new state and should get help from the Centre, Prime Minister Modi never paid attention to it. He regretted that despite requests to make allocations for the benefit of the state in every budget, they were ignored. A journalist friend asked me what the allocations for Telangana will be in the budget this time. His answer to that is that he firmly believes that this time too, the central budget will be in the same state as the allocations will be made again. But this time BJP got eight MP seats in Telangana. So the people here have faith in Modi and BJP for development. They felt that if the government that wins at the center is voted for, the state will do well. That is why 8 seats were given to BJP. And we have to wait and see what our BJP MPs will talk to Modi and make them do good for the people of this region. Our BJP MPs do not have the ability to talk to Modi knowingly for the interests of our region. So, as always, Telangana will get zero in this budget, said KTR.
