Interstate cyber criminals arrested at Vemulawada

A man named Ramresh Kumar, who belongs to Sawai District, Ramidi Town, Rajasthan, studied up to BA Computers and learned how to cheat innocent people online and earn money. He wanted to live a luxurious life with the money he cheated. They used to give some of the money earned by cheating to Ramresh. In this way a person named Lokesh Kumar Meena s/o Kailash Chand Meena from the same village was taught how to earn money by cheating online (Telegram). He said that many people received money as they thought it would happen.

Mishra Sachin s/o Sunil of Vemulawada Town Balanagar received a message from an unknown person through Instagram and Telegram saying that if you deposit money in Bit coin, it will double through message and phone number 6376012977, 9391264084. ,00,Rs.183/- was remitted through Bharat Pay. Even if the money is not doubled, his money will not be returned, Mishra immediately realized that he was cheated by the cyber criminals and filed a complaint in the Cyber Crime portal. Identifying them as belonging to Ramidi village of Sawai Madopur district, Rajasthan, Cyber RSI Junaid went to Rajasthan and arrested two accused in Sawai village, one of them was a minor and was produced in the court there. After that another accused, Ramresh Kumar, was brought to Vemulawada Police Station for questioning and 7 mobile phones and 2 SIM cards were seized from them and taken to remand.

People should be alert about cyber crimes like loan up, lottery, part time job, more profit with less investment, cyber scams in the name of pink WhatsApp, don’t get cheated when you get a message, be alert. If you are exposed to cyber scams, immediately visit NCRP portal (www.cybercrime.gov.in). If you call immediately or to toll free number 1930 and complain, the concerned police station will respond immediately.
