Neelojupalli village gold theft, one of the thief caught – Vemulawada police

CI said that on 03-02-2023 at 12 noon at Nilojupalli village of Boinapally Mandal, a case has been filed in Boinapally Police Station on the complaint that unknown persons broke the lock of the house of a person named Sattaiah and entered the house and stole 11 tolas of gold ornaments, 6 tolas of silver ornaments and 25 thousand rupees in cash. After registering a case, Vemulawada Rural CI Bansilal along with his staff started investigation on the orders of Rajannasircilla District SP Akhil Mahajan and Vemulawada DSP Nagendrachari and continued the investigation into the theft in the vicinity of Vemulawada Sri Rajarajeswara Swamy Temple yesterday i.e. 16-03-2023 at noon. One of the culprits was caught and interrogated. He said his name was Ashok, who resided in Kondagattu. After being released from jail for thefts at different areas, Police caught him on 17.03.2023 and interrogated him to for selling 2 tola gold belongings and for committing a crime against. After that, Vemulawada Rural CI seized 2 tola gold ornaments from him and arrested him and brought him before the Honorable Magistrate for judicial custody. He was sent to Karimnagar Jail. Another absconding criminal will be caught soon, Vemulawada Rural CI said.

Police’s appeal to the people People should keep their valuables in a bank locker instead of at home as thefts are more likely to happen during summer. Similarly, while going to the village, valuables should not be left in the house and should be taken with them. When going to the village, one should leave the relatives at home.
