Science Hack 5.0 Winner – Ponnala Lohitha

RSD-Dammanapet news: IIT Tirupati National Service Scheme organized an online science demonstration competition called Science Hack 5.0 for students of various private and government schools across the country from February 20^th to March 30^th 2025 and the details of the winning students were uploaded on their official website on 22.04.2025. In this competition, Ponnala Lohitha, a class 7 student of Dammanapet Government School, won the consolation prize for her air-purifying demonstration “Classroom Friend” prepared under the guidance of guide teacher Taduri Sampath Kumar. IIT Tirupati will invite Lohitha and the guide teacher to Tirupati for a special program in November 2025 and present them with a memento and a certificate of appreciation. In the parent’s meeting held in the school premises, the school principal Chintapalli Venkateswara Rao presented a memento to Lohitha and congratulated her. Speaking on the occasion, he said that it is commendable that Ponnala Lohitha from Telangana has been selected in 4.0 even in 10th grade and now in 5.0. He also wished that Lohitha should get many more awards. The school teaching team Boyana Gari Narayana, Marepalli Raju, Gudi Kadi Komarayya, Shanigaram Narayana, Ajmira, Kavitha, Jadala Vijayasri, parents and students participated in this program.
