Sircilla DSP Warns…Strict Action Against Communal Posts on Social Media
RSD_RAJANNA SIRCILLA:In a stern warning, Rajanna Sircilla DSP NagendraChari said strict action will be taken against those spreading religious hatred on social media.
He stated that police are closely monitoring platforms like Facebook, WhatsApp, Twitter (X) and Instagram for posts that incite communal hatred, hurt religious sentiments, and disturb law and order.
The DSP warned that sharing or forwarding false news and hate propaganda will not be tolerated. Criminal cases will be booked against those who post such content, and also against the admins of the respective groups or pages.
He further said that history sheets will be opened against repeat offenders if required.
He appealed to the public to cooperate with the police to maintain peace and harmony in the district and to refrain from posting or forwarding objectionable content.
