Sircilla Municipality Distributes Clay Ganesh Idols to Promote Eco Friendly Vinayaka Chavithi
RSD_Sircilla:The Sircilla Municipality today organized a Clay Ganesh Idol distribution program at the Municipal Office at 4:00 PM on the occasion of Vinayaka Chavithi.
Hon’ble Municipal Chairperson Jindam Kala Chakrapani and the Municipal Commissioner led the program and distributed eco friendly clay idols to the residents.
Speaking on the occasion, the Chairperson urged citizens to use only clay idols as part of environmental protection. She said that Plaster of Paris idols and chemical colours pollute water bodies and that using clay idols helps in protecting the environment.
She called upon everyone to celebrate Vinayaka Chavithi in an eco-friendly manner.
Municipal Councillors, Co-option Members, officials, staff and a large number of townspeople participated in the program.
