RSD_5 years imprisonment for causing death

RSD- Ellareddypet news: Sircilla District Chief Justice N Premalatha sentenced a person named Rangu Nagaraju who caused the death of Bommera Anjaiah of Gollapalli village of Ellareddypet mandal to 5 years imprisonment and Rs. 2000 fine. Ellareddypet S.I. Ramakanth said in a statement that the verdict was announced on 30.04.2024. On this occasion, S.I said that, on 27th July 2020, at the house of Bommera Anjaiah of Gollapalli village of Ellareddypet Mandal, Rangu Nagaraju of the same village had a pet dog which urinated in front of Anjaiah’s house.  On this issue Nagaraju and Anjaiah had an argument, Nagaraju due to anger hit Anjaiah and he fell down. Anjaiah was already suffering from heart problem. Anjaiah died on the way while he was being taken to the hospital. Anjaiah ‘s son Bhinchand filed a complaint at the Ellareddypet police station and the then S.I. Venkatakrishna registered the case and filed the charge sheet with the then CI Bansilal court. Public Prosecutor Narsinga Rao argued on behalf of the prosecution, then and now CMS Srikanth and Rabindranaidu, Court Constables Srinivas and CMS Constable Narender brought 13 witnesses in the court. As the judge who examined the previous cases proved guilty and Rangu Nagaraju was sentenced to 5 years imprisonment and a fine of 2000 rupees.
