Rs 1,741 Cr for Weavers in 1000 Days… Rs 1,700 Cr for Sircilla : CM Revanth
RSD_Rajanna Sircilla: Chief Minister Revanth Reddy on Wednesday announced that if Congress wins Sircilla in the next elections, he will convince Delhi High Command and induct the MLA into the Cabinet.
The CM was on a tour of Rajanna Sircilla district where he laid foundation stones for works worth Rs 345.78 crore and inaugurated several buildings including Indira Mahila Shakti Bhavan built with Rs 5 crore at Peddur, Mahila Police Station and Traffic Police Stations in Vemulawada and Sircilla.
At the public meeting in Sircilla, CM said:
- Weavers: Govt spent Rs 1,741 crore for weavers in 1000 days of Praja Palana, cleared Rs 500 crore dues left by previous govt, and gave orders for 6.9 crore metres of sarees. A yarn depot with Rs 50 crore is set up in Vemulawada.
- District Funds: Rs 1,700 crore sanctioned to Rajanna Sircilla district. Foundation laid for Netha Bazar, Young India Integrated Residential Schools with Rs 200 crore each in Sircilla and Vemulawada, and Rs 99.40 crore development works of Vemulawada Rajanna Temple.
- Gulf Workers: Special policy for Gulf workers. If a worker dies abroad, govt will bring back the body and give Rs 5 lakh to the family.
- Nerella Victims: He handed over financial aid of Rs 10 lakh each to 2 victims and Rs 5 lakh each to 6 victims, stating that sand mafia in Maneru was exposed by Nerella victims.
- Attacks on BRS: He alleged that in 10 years, Sircilla became “Urisilla” and KCR family indulged in Rs 1 lakh crore corruption. He questioned why KTR could not stop weavers’ suicides and Gulf migration despite winning 6 times since 2009.
Ministers Tummala Nageswara Rao, Ponnam Prabhakar, Sridhar Babu, Adluri Lakshman, PCC Chief Mahesh Kumar Goud, Govt Whip Adi Srinivas, Collector Garima Agarwal, SP Mahesh Babasaheb and others participated.
