Allot House Sites and Recreation Club for Advocates : District Bar Association Submits Plea to CM Revanth
RSD_Sircilla: The District Bar Association has urged Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy to allot house sites for advocates practicing in the district.
On Wednesday during the CM’s visit to the district headquarters, Bar Association President Avunoori Ramakanth Rao and members met him at the helipad at Govt College Ground and submitted a representation seeking 3 acres of land.
Rao said over 360 advocates are practicing in the district headquarters and many do not have minimum residential houses, lacking social and economic security.
He requested the government to allot house sites at nominal cost to eligible advocates at a suitable place and also allot 3 acres for a Health and Recreation Club for advocates.
He also urged the CM to sanction funds on a priority basis for the Family Court already sanctioned to the district and provide infrastructure to make it operational.
General Secretary Cheekatla Venkaiah, Govardhan Reddy, Shanigaram Vasantham, Kishan and other advocates were present.
