Explosive substances Act case filed at- Vemulawada
On 06.03.2022 evening while patrolling at Vemulawada, the rural SI and CI saw a person carrying four carton boxes of explosives on Bajaj Discover bike vehicle number AP25 AN 2055 from Nukalamarri. Upon enquiry, Police came to know that he is taking those explosives for blasting during well construction. He was caught with 488 power gel packets and 321 electronic detonators which were handed over by police along with bike and case was filed on the person carrying them under the U/Sec 420, 286 IPC, 5 of Explosive substances Act and sec.9 of Explosive act. He said that he purchased from another person for Rs.40,000/- who was under escape.
Police said that it is illegal to purchase explosives and store them without the knowledge of government. And if anyone found so will be severely punished.
