Vemulawada Advocates Boycott Duties, Demand Case Against Attapur Police Under Advocate Protection Act 2025
RSD_Vemulawada, Rajanna Sircilla: Vemulawada Bar Association lawyers boycotted court duties on Thursday protesting against the misbehaviour of Attapur Police.
Bar Association President Pittala Manohar alleged that police at Attapur Police Station snatched mobile phones of advocates who went there on professional duty and behaved rudely with them.
Demanding action by Telangana DGP, he said cases should be booked against the erring police personnel under Advocate Protection Act 2025.
He warned of statewide agitations if such incidents repeat.
Bar Vice President Gonti Shankar, Joint Secretary Kanikarapu Srinivas, EC Members Ullendula Anil, Vodyarapu Venu, women representatives Tamiri Annapurna, Boora Saritha, Naeema Nasari, former presidents Gudise Sadanandam, Gunda Ravi, senior advocates Nakka Diwakar, Parlapelli Anjaiah and others participated.
