Red Cross Sircilla Director Nomination Faces Objection… Govt Doctor Running Private Hospitals?
RSD-Sircilla news: A formal appeal has been filed before the Election Authorities and the Red Cross Society of Rajanna Sircilla district, demanding the immediate rejection of the nomination of DR. Guduri Ravinder for the post of District Red Cross Society Director.
The letter of complaint was formally submitted by Biyamkar Srinivas, former Director of the District Red Cross Society, raising serious allegations concerning administrative violations, dual employment conflicts, and past misconduct.
Core Allegations Raised in the Letter:
Lack of Mandatory Higher Authority Clearance:The complainant notes that DR. Guduri Ravinder is currently serving as a Superintendent at a government hospital in Huzurabad, Karimnagar district. According to City Compensatory Allowance (CCA) regulations, any government employee intending to serve or travel to another district like Rajanna Sircilla which is located approximately 80 kilometers away must secure explicit clearance and permission from higher authorities. The complaint asserts that DR. Ravinder has failed to produce or obtain this mandatory authorization.
Unauthorized Absences and Operations: The letter highlights that despite being posted in Huzurabad, DR. Ravinder has allegedly been running and operating services at a private hospital owned by his wife in Sircilla town without legal authorization or official leave. It further details a controversial past incident at a Sircilla government hospital where an altercation between him and another doctor allegedly forced them to abandon a patient mid-operation, risking a life and resulting in their subsequent transfer.
Attendance Register Discrepancies: The complainant claims that the doctor has been managing his official duties via proxy arrangements, bringing the official attendance registers from Karimnagar once a week to sign for the entire week at once. It calls for an official investigation into the CCTV footage and mobile signal tracking data over the last three months for the private clinics he operates in Sircilla town (such as Amma Hospital and Amma Multi Super Specialty Clinic) to expose these discrepancies.
Demand for Disqualification:
Biyamkar Srinivas concluded the petition by stating that DR. Ravinder is utilizing public resources and drawing a heavy salary while failing to deliver public justice, making him completely ineligible to serve the Red Cross Society. He has strongly urged the election authorities to declare DR. Guduri Ravinder disqualified and reject his nomination immediately to protect the integrity of the Red Cross Society’s humanitarian services.
