Acharya Konda Laxman Bapuji Jayanti at 17th Police Battalion

RSD- Sardapur news: 17th Police Battalion Commandant Srinivasa Rao paid tributes to the portrait of Acharya Konda Laxman Bapuji by garlanding it.

On this occasion, Commandant Srinivasa Rao said that the role played by Acharya Konda Laxman Bapuji in the achievement of Telangana state cannot be forgotten. Konda Laxman Bapuji, who was prominent among the leaders of the anti-Nizam movement in Telangana, was elected MLA from Asifabad for the first time in 1952 elections, then represented the assembly from Bhuvanagiri in 1967 and 1972. It is said that he served as the Deputy Speaker of the Commonwealth of Nations from 1957-60. Kondalakshman was a selfless man who played a key role in the first phase of the Telangana movement in 1969 and also resigned as a minister. Bapuji was hailed as a committed politician.
