Bar owners’ concern
RSD- Telangana news: Members of the Telangana Bar and Restaurant Owners Association protested in front of the Excise Department office. The presence of permit rooms in wine shops around bars has reduced the number of customers coming to bars. It is seriously affecting the business of bars, some owners are in a situation where they have to close their bars. The increase in the number of belt shops in villages and hamlets is causing serious problems for the local people. While wine shops in the districts are allowed to operate only from 10:00 am to 10:00 pm, the association objected to the fact that they are allowed to operate till 11:00 pm in Hyderabad and GHMC areas. They demanded that the time limit be implemented in GHMC areas like in the districts. Bar owners said that the government’s revenue is also being lost due to the decrease in the income of bars. They demanded that the government immediately resolve their problems.
