Body from graveyard to post mortem -Sircilla

After a man’s death, the body is traditionally taken to the burial ground. All the relations of that man with his fellow men will last till he is tied. The dead body cannot be brought back. A rare incident took place in Sirisilla where the dead body was brought back from the graveyard for post-mortem.

As per the information given by the locals, Vishwanathula Nagaraju of Sircilla town was seriously injured in a road accident four days ago. He died on 18.04.2023 while undergoing treatment at Sircilla Area Hospital. The hospital staff handed over the body to the relatives of the deceased. On 19.04.2023, the body was taken to the Sircilla crematorium to be cremated as per Hindu tradition. At the last minute, the body was taken back to the area hospital for post-mortem by the police. It is still to be known that who has filed a complaint with the police. Moving the body from the graveyard to the postmortem has become a topic of discussion in the town.
