RSD- Rangareddy news: A case has been registered against the ‘Namaste Telangana’ news paper for publishing the news that Chief Minister Revanth Reddy and former AP CM Chandrababu Naidu met at Begumpet Airport. TPCC Working President, MLC Mahesh Kumar Goud filed a complaint with the Begumpet Police. According to IPC sections 505(1)(b)(c), 505(2) read with 109, a case has been registered under crime number 154/2024. Mahesh Kumar Goud released a statement regarding this complaint on 09.03.2024. Mahesh stated that the newspaper wrote a news saying that Chandrababu and Revanth Reddy had met at Begumpet Airport while going to Delhi on 7th of March 2024 which is not true. On that day, Revanth Reddy arrived at Begumpet Airport at 3 pm and left at 3.37 pm, while Chandrababu arrived at 2.45 pm and left at 3.07 pm. It was explained that Chandrababu left without entering the lounge and Revanth Reddy was only in the lounge for 10 minutes, so there was no chance for the two to meet. But, Namaste Telangana newspaper published the news that both of them met for 2 hours. He said that Chandrababu had asked for Revanth’s help in the upcoming Andhra Pradesh assembly elections and Revanth had agreed to this.
