Community contact program for maintenance of peace and security

RSD- Vemulawada news: Community contact program was conducted in Tettekunta village under Vemulawada Town Police Station under the direction of Vemulawada DSP Nagendrachari under the direction of District SP Akhil Mahajan IPS.

DSP said that this program was organized to create a sense of security among the people about the protection of the people and to know the problems of the people directly. He said that it will be known whether any new people or criminals are coming and taking shelter in the town, village or colony and this program is being conducted with the intention of the district SP to make the villages crime free. Similarly, extensive checks were conducted by Jagilas who could recover narcotics, narcotic substances like ganja and explosives.

On this occasion, 34 two-wheelers and 02 autos were seized in the village without any papers and without proper number plates.

He said that if anyone is roaming suspiciously in the villages, they should immediately call the police or dial 100 and action will be taken immediately.

CC for more self defense in villages. He said that there will be cooperation of police in this matter to install cameras and CC cameras will play a vital role in security matters.

He said that people should be vigilant against cyber crimes and if they are involved in cyber crimes, they should immediately call the toll free number 1930. Similarly, if a mobile phone is stolen, file a complaint on www.ceir.gov.in portal. The lost phone will be recovered quickly.

He said that this program will be conducted frequently and strict action will be taken against those who are involved in the illegal activities of Ganja, Gudumba transportation and sales.
