Exciting police and press friendly cricket match
RSD- Sircilla news: The cricket match between the district police team and the press team was exciting. District SP Akhil Mahaj IPS started the friendly cricket match between Police vs. Press at the local college ground in the district on 05.01.2024. The press team won the toss and batted first.
The press team who batted first lost 10 wickets in the allotted 12 overs and scored 83 runs, while the police team who started batting later lost 7 wickets in the allotted 11 overs and scored 84 runs and the police team won by 04 wickets. Later, the winners were given prizes. In this cricket match, Kiran was awarded as man of the match from the team. After that, the district SP congratulated the members of both the teams.
He said that the always busy policemen and journalists had a pleasant time with the sports. A friendly cricket match was organized to ensure good coordination between the press and the police. It is believed that by conducting a cricket match like this once every year, everyone will get a good team spirit along with recreation.
