RSD – Dharmapuri news: Minister Koppula Eshwar’s protest ended. Sattam Shetty Rajanna, a farmer of Kamalapur village in Mandal, protested by bringing his cultivated grain in a tractor on 03.06.2023 morning and dumping it in front of the Dharmapuri MLA camp office, alleging that government was not buying grain. Rajanna alleged that even though the minister said that the grain should be purchased without depreciation and without causing hardship to the farmers, they are not buying it. He expressed his concern that the millers are being robbed if they work hard to grow crops. As part of Telangana State Decade celebrations, Telangana Rythu Day is to be celebrated in Dharmapuri on 03.06.2023 to mark the achievements of the state’s agriculture sector. For this, Minister Koppula Eshwar stayed at the camp office for the night. However, while Minister Koppula Eshwar was in the camp office, the farmer brought grain in a tractor and poured it into the MLA’s camp office to protest. After getting the information, the police removed the grain and took it to the police station in a tractor. The farmer said that due to untimely rains, he has already suffered a lot and he has done this to bring the farmers’ suffering to the attention of the minister.
