Man arrested for illegally storing gelatin sticks in public places.

RSD- Sircilla news: SP speaking in the media conference on 20-08-2023 in the evening on information that the accused Bangaraiah was storing gelatine sticks dangerously in his rented house, Sircilla Town Police went to the house of the accused Bangaraiah in Chinna Bonala and found dangerous items in his compressor tractor and in the rented house. The gelatine sticks and cordax wire used to detonate them were stored and they were found and Bangaraiah was arrested and interrogated. Bangaraiah had bought one carton gelatine sticks i.e. 157 gelatine sticks from the accused at Vallepu Tirupati about six months ago and used some of them and the rest dangerously in residential areas. Knowing that gelatine sticks would cause loss of life and property if they explode, he admitted that he would not keep them in his house without any permission and store them for use in rock works. Bangaraiah was taken to remand on 21.08.2023. A special team is going to Vallepu Tirupati and they are going to catch Tirupati soon.
The SP said that strict action will be taken if anyone stores gelatin sticks but explosive substances without any permission or license in public residential areas. If anyone wants to sell gelatin sticks or explosive substances, the related permission and license should be taken properly. He said that anyone who has information about who has stored substances like gelatin sticks, who is close to them, should call 100 or the nearest police to give the information.
