Medigadda restoration is not our responsibility L&T sensational letter

RSD- Hyderabad news:  L&T has written a sensational letter to Project ENC that they are not responsible for the restoration of the collapsed area in Medigadda Barrage. In the letter, the company said that they will go ahead only if a supplementary agreement is signed along with bearing the entire cost of repair. At the time of the collapse of the barrage, the project engineers made a different statement.

He said that the maintenance deadline is still there and the entire cost of restoration will be borne by the construction company. The statement made by the engineers during the election does not match the statement made by the construction company, and this issue is becoming controversial once again. To find out what happened to the piers and pillars where the barrage collapsed, a coffer dam has to be constructed to divert water into the area. L&T wrote a letter to Kaleshwaram ENC Venkateshwarlu on 2nd of December to sign an agreement for this amount saying that it will cost Rs.55.75 crores.

To repair damaged back and piers the Irrigation Department said that it will cost up to Rs. 500 crores. Recently, in the letter of L&T, it has been clarified that the cost of restoration of Medigadda barrage should be borne by the government itself, and this issue has once again become a hot topic. During the elections, the key leaders of BRS also announced that there is nothing to worry about and the construction company will take up the renovation work.
