Municipal town A.E caught in the trap of ACB

RSD-Mahbubnagar news: Town AE Prithvi, who works in the Mahbubnagar district municipal office, was nabbed by ACB officials on 10.02.2024. According to ACB, DSP Krishna Goud, while taking a bribe of 50 thousand from municipal contractor P. Yadaiah, A.E Prithvi was caught near Mettugadda in the town.He said that the contractor contacted the municipality last year and tendered online for two works and got it for 11 lakhs.The contractor Yadaiah who completed these works , asked AE Prithvi to register an MV in the municipal office regarding the works and AE Prithvi demanded a bribe.He said that the contractor Yadaiah complained to ACB on the 7^th  of February 2024. According to the scheme, Yadaiah was caught giving the 50 thousand rupees agreed to AE Prithvi near Mettugadda in the town and a case was registered against him.After that, the accused was brought to the municipal office for investigation and the related files were examined, and he will be handed over to the ACB special court in Nampalli on 11.02.2024.Speaking on this occasion, he revealed that if any government employee demands money, they should call ACB toll free number 1064 and complain or directly report at the Mahbubnagar office.
