President presented the Bala Puraskar award to the girl
RSD-Hanmakonda District news:Pendyal Lakshmipriya, a tenth class student from Hanmakonda, received the Prime Minister’s Rashtriya Bala Puraskar Award for the year 2024 in the culture category.President Draupadi Murmu presented the award to Lakshmi Priya at an award ceremony held on 22.01.2024 in Delhi.A total of 19 people were selected for this award by the Central Women and Child Welfare Department in various categories across the country, but only Lakshmi Priya from Telangana got that opportunity. Film actress Manjubhargavi and dancer Deepika Reddy are idols of the girl, who learned Kuchipudi dance since she was in third grade. Lakshmi Priya says that despite her interest in dance, she has set her sights on becoming an IAS officer in the future.
