RSD- Mustabad news: Mustabad Mandal Level Sports Festival inaugurated at Pothugal Zilla Parishad High School by District Collector Sandeep Kumar Jha, he said that students should participate enthusiastically in sports competitions. On 22.08.2025, District Collector Sandeep Kumar Jha inaugurated the Mustabad Mandal Level Sports Festival organized by the School Games Federation of India and the District Education Department at Pothugal Zilla Parishad High School. Speaking on the occasion, District Collector Sandeep Kumar Jha said that Mustabad Mandal Sports Festival is being organized for 3 days and athletics competitions are being organized for boys and girls. He said that sports such as volleyball, kabaddi, and Kho kho are being held at senior and junior levels. He said that students should participate enthusiastically in sports competitions. The Collector said that shoes should be provided to all students who play sports. He said that sports competitions should be held when the sun is not too intense, and keeping in mind the school timing, if they are held after 4 pm, more students will have a chance to participate. He said that playing sports increases the mental and physical development of children. He said that by playing sports for some time every day, students will also excel in their studies. The Collector congratulated the staff who made good arrangements for sports competitions at the mandal level. Mandal Education Officer, teachers, local leaders, students and others participated in this program.
