132nd birth anniversary celebrations of Dr. BR Ambedkar at Ambedkar Square – Sircilla
Dr. B. R. Ambedkar’s birth anniversary celebrations were attended by President of Municipal Corporation Mrs. Jindam Kala Chakrapani, Chairman of TSPTDC Mr. Guduri Praveen, District SP Akhil Mahajan, District Additional Collector Khimya Naik, President of District Library Department Akunuri Shankaraiah, Chairman of CESS Chikkala Rama Rao. District Farmer Coordination Committee President Gaddam Narsaiah, BRS Party District President Thota Agaiah, District Ambedkar Youth Association President Kattera Devadasu, Terasa Party Town President Jindam Chakrapani, Mala Mahanadu Leader Ragula Ramulu were present as chief guests.
On this occasion, Mrs. Jindam Kala Chakrapani, President of Municipal Corporation expressed her thanks to everyone who attended the 132nd birth anniversary celebrations of Bharat Ratna, Founder of the Constitution of India, Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar.
Dr. BR Ambedkar, an intellectual, was a visionary who worked throughout his life for the construction of an equal society without caste discrimination, for the achievement of equal rights for all people, for the advancement of women, for the development of the working class, Dalit, tribal, and weaker sections, and for the development of the weaker sections of the Indian social system.
Honorable Terasa Town President Jindam Chakrapani said that according to Dr. BR Ambedkar’s ideas that development can be achieved only in small states, the Chief Minister KCR has achieved a separate Telangana state by leading the separate Telangana state movement by taking inspiration from Ambedkar’s philosophies of teach, mobilize and fight.
In line with the aspirations of Dr. BR Ambedkar, Chief Minister KCR organizes many welfare schemes for the development of SC, ST and BC minorities in the separate state of Telangana, for whom special funds are allocated in every budget. He said that by spending funds through the SC sub-plan for the development of SCs, especially by introducing a revolutionary scheme like Dalit Bandhu, 10 lakh rupees per beneficiary is being provided on full subsidy for employment generation to strengthen the Dalit communities economically and socially.
Apart from this, welfare hostels are being successfully managed by the government with the aim of providing good quality education to all who can achieve real development through education, providing educational scholarships for those pursuing higher education and providing financial assistance up to 20 lakh rupees for children studying abroad through the Ambedkar Overseas Education Fund. He said that he is proud to say that it belongs only to our Chief Minister. Moreover, in market committees, contract works, nominated posts, higher education opportunities and job opportunities, Dr. B. R. Ambedkar has been working for the development of various castes by following the reservation under the constitution. According to the idea of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, KCR is working for the construction of an equal society. Minister KTR said that in accordance with the wishes of Dr. BR Ambedkar, every one should become wise through education in order to make education available to all and he is making special efforts to strengthen the public education system in the government school. Similarly, measures are being taken to ensure that everyone who is eligible gets the welfare and employment schemes introduced by the government.
He said that he would like to express his special thanks to Minister KTR for constructing the Dr. BR Ambedkar building with advanced facilities in Sircilla District Center at a cost of about two and a half crore rupees. As part of the continuation of Ambedkar’s aspirations, the Chief Minister KCR installed a 125 feet statue of Ambedkar in the heart of Hyderabad, commemorating the services provided by Dr. BR Ambedkar for building an eqalitarian society, changing the course of India by removing the darkness of ignorance as a constitution maker and naming the new Telangana state secretariat after Dr. BR Ambedkar for which on behalf of all the people of Telangana, we thank CM KCR. Later, all the participants in the 132nd birth anniversary celebrations of Dr. BR Ambedkar paid tribute to Dr. BR Ambedkar. A large number of members of the governing body of the Municipal Corporation, government officials, leaders of Dalit associations, town leaders and people of the town participated in this program.
