6 months prison for accused in 2 different cases

RSD- Sircilla news: Sircilla First Class Judge Praveen announced the verdict on 22.01.2025, imposing a six-month prison sentence and a fine of Rs. 100 on Ashok, who was accused in two cases of theft and threatening the police, in each case. The CI speaks to this extent and said that, on 05.12.2015 in the evening, while a person named M. Bhaskar from B.Y. Nagar in Sircilla town was going from Rajiv Nagar to B.Y. Nagar on a bike, a person named Yalakula Ashok from Sanjeevaiah Nagar in Sircilla town coming from the opposite direction hit M. Bhaskar’s vehicle. Ashok got into an argument with Bhaskar and threatened him saying, “I am police I will hit with my motorcycle, pay me Rs. 3000?” Bhaskar replied that he did not have any money. Without giving up, Ashok forced Bhaskar and took his ATM card and withdraw Rs. 3000. But after a while, realizing that he was not a policeman but a van driver, Bhaskar lodged a complaint at the police station. A case was registered and after investigation, the investigating officer B. Srinivas has produced him in the court. On 16.01.2020 night, when information was received that an unknown person was roaming around suspiciously near the residential houses in the premises of the Honorable Court, CI along with the Court Duty Ramesh went to the court and caught the person who was trying to steal goods in the under construction quarter in the dark and got to know the details. He said that his name was Yalakula Ashok s/o Kanuyya Siricilla and that since the court was closed on that day, he was trying to steal something in the dark. He was caught and a complaint was filed at the police stations. After the investigation, the investigating officer B. Srinivas and Sudhir Rao filed a charge sheet in the court in another case. CMS S. I. under the leadership of Ravinder Naidu, the court constable Vemula Naresh and seven (07) witnesses were presented. Public Prosecutor Chelumula Sandeep argued for the prosecution, and Judge A. Praveen, who examined the background of the case, sentenced the culprit, Pudari Yalakula Ashok, to six (6) months rigorous imprisonment in each case and a fine of one hundred rupees, the CI said.
