73rd National Constitution Day celebrations-Rajannasircilla district

The Additional SP of the district said that we should serve the people more efficiently and participate in the development of the country with the spirit of the Constitution of India. On the occasion of the day when the Constitution of India came into force, he pledged with the officers, staff and police officers of the district police office. Later, floral garland was placed on the portrait of the Constitution maker Dr. BR Ambedkar in the district office.

In this regard, Additional SP said that Ambedkar was the one who gave the world’s largest written constitution to the country, and with the will to live in equality, peace and brotherhood for all the people of the country, the constitution provided rights to the people and also prescribed duties for the development of the country. He said that all the people of the country need to develop a clear understanding of their rights and duties. He said that through the constitution, all the people of the country have been given the right to live freely and the responsibility of maintaining peace and security has been entrusted to the police. It is suggested to serve the people more efficiently with the spirit of the Constitution and to be good in the development of the country. He said that the Constitution of India plays a major role in not only standing as the pillar of the democratic system but also in making our country an ideal for the world. Administration Officer Hammadullah Khan, Superintendents and office staff and police personnel participated in the program.

On 26.11.2022, all the officers and staff recited the words of the Preamble of the Constitution, “We the people of India have resolved to promote social, economic and political justice, freedom of expression, belief, worship, equality of opportunity and fraternity for all citizens to build a sovereign, socialist, secular, democratic and republican state in our Constituent Assembly. We present to us this constitution which has been adopted and made into law,”.

Assistant Commandant Parthasarathy Reddy said that after the independence of India, a constitution making council was formed with many academicians, jurists and eminent people from various fields to draft a constitution for our country. He informed that people like Dr. BR Ambedkar and Babu Rajendra Prasad worked very hard to draft the constitution. He said that it took 2 two years 11 months and 18 days to draft the constitution of India, the largest democratic country in the world. The constitution was drafted by draft committee headed by Dr. BR Ambedkar. The Constitution of India came into force on January 26, 1950. But the Constitution was ratified on November 26, 1949. That is why we are celebrating this day as National Constitution Day. Officers and staff participated in the program.
