Issuance of ration cards is a continuous process
RSD- Sircilla news: New ration cards were distributed to beneficiaries belonging to the respective wards under Siricilla Municipal limits on 21.07.2025. Speaking on the occasion, the Collector Sandeep Kumar Jha said that new ration cards are being issued to 2610 eligible beneficiaries in Siricilla town. He also revealed that a total of 4527 people have been added to the existing cards. He said that rice is being distributed to a total of 21 thousand ration card beneficiaries under Siricilla Municipal limits. The collector said that the ration card is a very important document and that the ration card is useful for many programs like Aadhaar card, current connection, and implementation of government schemes. He explained that it is also very useful for central and state government schemes and identification. He said that the cards are being distributed to 14 thousand new beneficiaries in the district. He explained that 6 kg of fine rice will be distributed to each beneficiary per month through ration. Collector Sandeep Kumar Jha clarified that the new ration card will make one eligible for many welfare schemes like Indiramma Indlu and Pension. He called on people to make good use of ration cards. Those who have not yet received the card are advised to apply at the nearest Mee Seva Kendra. K K Mahender Reddy, District Library Chairman Nagula Satyanarayana Goud, Sircilla Market Committee Chairperson Swaroopa Reddy, Sircilla RDO Venkateshwarlu, DM Civil Supply Rajitha, beneficiaries, concerned officials and others participated in the program.
