Counterfeit currency notes seized
RSD- Mehdipatnam news: Police nabbed (02) dealers cum sellers of counterfeit currency notes and seized two lakhs of fake currency notes near ramalayam, sri ram nagar, first lancer, hyderabad in the limits of mehdipatnam police station, asif nagar division, south west zone.
Details of the Accused Persons:
A1- Ansari Aftab Azeemuddin, Age: 22 Years, N/o Aurangabad, Maharashtra.
A2- Adil Hussain, Age: 22 Years, Occ: Student, R/o Langer house, Hyderabad.
A3 – Akash N/o Aurangabad District, Maharashtra State. (Absconding)
In Cr.No: 208/2025 U/Sec. 179, 180, 61(2) r/w 3 (5) BNS of PS Mehdipatnam, Hyderabad and being sent to the Judicial remand.
Seized: 400 fake notes of Rs. 500 denominations (Total of Two Lakhs), 3 Cell Phones, One Honda Activa bearing no. TS 13 EW 8739.
On sleuths of credible information that (02) accused persons came to sell the fake currency notes to needy customers which is procured from Akash (absconding) and waiting near Ramalayam, Sriram Nagar, first Lancer on apprehension and enquiry noticed that the accused were intent to deal for sale of fake currency Viz. Rs. 30,000/- for One Lakh Fake Currency. Apprehended them and arrested on 19.07.2025 at 19:10 hours and produced before the Hon’ble Court and sent to judicial custody. The above operation was done under the supervision of G. Chandra Mohan, Dy. Commissioner of Police, South West Zone, Krishna Goud, Addl. Dy. Commissioner of Police, B. Kishan Kumar, Asst. Commissioner of Police, Asifnagar Division and monitoring of S.Mallesh, SHO, Mehdipatnam PS, G. Bala Krishna, Detective Inspector of Police, Mehdipatnam PS with the assistance of SIs and Crime Team of Mehdipatnam P.S.
