Saree in match box for Goddess Jogulamba
RSD-Sircilla news: A handloom artist presented a saree in match box to Goddess Jogulamba of Gadwal Alampur on 13.08.2025. Handloom artist Veldandi Hariprasad from Rajanna Siricilla district headquarters worked hard for six days to weave this saree on a handloom loom. 2 grams of gold and silk thread were used for this. The saree is five and a half meters long and 48 inches wide. The fringe and edges are pink and the saree is gold in color. The saree weighs 150 grams.
