Extensive arrangements should be made for the Republic Day celebrations
RSD-Sircilla news: In-charge Collector Garima Agarwal instructed the officials to make extensive arrangements for the Indian Republic Day celebrations on the 26.01.2026. She held a meeting with district officials on 19.01.2026 at the auditorium in the District Integrated Offices Complex regarding the conduct of the Republic Day celebrations. On this occasion, In-charge Collector Garima Agarwal said that the police, revenue, and municipal officials should prepare the ground and the dais with floral decorations for the grand conduct of the Indian Republic Day celebrations at the parade ground in the district police office premises. She instructed the revenue officials to make seating arrangements for public representatives, district officials, and the public during the celebrations. She directed the officials of the respective departments to set up stalls and tableaux showcasing the development and welfare schemes being implemented by various government departments. She instructed the District Planning Officer to prepare a progress report containing details of various development and welfare schemes, to be used for addressing the district people during the Republic Day celebrations. She stated that officials from the electricity department should ensure uninterrupted power supply, and medical staff should be present under the supervision of the Health Department. She directed the Sircilla Municipal Commissioner to oversee the sanitation work at the ground. During the celebrations, the DEO was instructed to provide drinking water bottles to the public and students attending the event, and to organize cultural programs that promote nationalistic sentiment. Officials were also directed to submit proposals for awarding certificates of appreciation to employees from various government departments in the district who have rendered outstanding service. Sircilla and Vemulawada RDOs Venkateshwarlu and Radhabhai, among others, were present at the event.
