Swachh Survey 2022 Self Sustainable city award to Sircilla municipal corporation

In the Swachh Survey 2022 awards announced by the central government, the Sircilla Municipal Corporation has received the Swachh Survey 2022 Self Sustainable city in south zone award in the category of municipalities with a population of less than one lakh in South India.

As part of that, in the main program of Swachh Survey 2022 awards organized by the Government of India in Delhi today, Minister kTR, Chairperson of Sircilla Municipal Corporation, Mrs. Jindam Kala Chakrapani, Commissioner Sammayya received the clean survey of Sircilla Municipal Corporation by the hands of  Union Minister Kaushal Kishore. 2022 Self Sustainable city in south zone (Self sustainable city) Cleanliness award was received.

In this regard, the President of the Municipal Corporation Mrs. Jindam Kala Chakrapani said that with the blessings of the Chief Minister KCR, in accordance with their ideas, under the guidance of the Minister KTR, with the cooperation of the members of the governing body, the Sircilla Municipality is due to the collective efforts of the Commissioner, office staff and workers. By conducting many development programs within the community, especially in the matter of cleanliness, we are working hard to provide all kinds of municipal services to the people and provide high quality services to the people. As a proof of that, as part of the Cleanliness Survey 2022 program organized today across the country, Sircilla Municipal Corporation has become a pioneer in the matter of cleanliness in South India. In 2022, this Self Sustainable city in south zone has won the Purity Award. She said that similarly, this year has increased our responsibility to provide better services to the people

She said that in the same spirit, we will provide more transparent services to the people and keep the surroundings clean without any place for impurity anywhere in the municipality and make efforts to set Sircilla Municipal Corporation as an example of cleanliness for other cities in India.

In this regard, she said that she would like to express her special thanks to the minister KTR, the members of the governing body, the commissioner, the staff and the workers and everyone who has contributed to the cleanliness issue of Sircilla Municipal Corporation, who have worked hard to get the first rank award in South India as part of this Swachh Survey 2022.
