Friendly police cricket match in excitement
RSD- Sircilla news: District SP Akhil Mahajan IPS said that participation in sports increases friendship and sports help a lot in relieving work stress. 14.12.2024, the district police officers were formed into two teams at the ground located in the bypass area of Sircilla town and the cricket match between the two teams was played in an enthusiastic manner. The District SP started this friendly cricket match. The two teams were led by the District SP and Sircilla DSP. Batting first, the Sircilla DSP team scored 109 runs for the loss of 4 wickets in 15 overs. Later, the District SP’s team scored 102 runs for the loss of 4 wickets in the stipulated 15 overs, resulting in the Sircilla DSP team winning. SB Inspector Srinivas was awarded the Man of the Match award in this cricket match. The Best Batsman and Best Bowler awards were given to Vemulawada Traffic SI Raju. Speaking on the occasion, the SP said that the police, who are always busy, said that sports increase mental happiness and they spent some time happily. He believed that by organizing a cricket match, everyone will get a break and will get a good team spirit and a confidence in our fitness.
