Accused arrested in murder case

RSD- Vemulawada news: On this occasion, the ASP said that on 18-12-2024 at 05:15 am, in Sainagar, Vemulawada, a person named Md. Rashid s/o Nasar, Muslim r/o Sainagar, Vemulawada a document writer was killed and the accused was arrested on 21.12.2024. The accused, Noone Manohar, a resident of Sainagar, had gone abroad for work and his wife who had an illicit relationship with Md.Rashid. Wheen the accused came to India 45 days ago and thought that his wife would be with him only if he killed Rashid, accused had been observing Rashid’s movements for the past few days and wanted to kill Rashid in some way, and as per the plan, he attacked Rashid indiscriminately with a knife used to cut coconuts and killed him. Taking this case as a challenge, CIs Veera Prasad, Srinivas and SIs Ramesh and Maruthi went out in teams and arrested him at Mallaram Road at 12:00 hrs on 21.12.2024. They have seized the knife, phone, passport and a vehicle used in the crime from the accused. The accused has been arrested and sent to remand, said the ASP. The ASP congratulated CIs Veera Prasad and Srinivas and SIs Ramesh and Maruthi and the staff.
